Ryan Lewis Vallance, a 34-year-old resident of Waterford, Michigan, has been charged with making threats against the Oakland County Republican Party and its members, including Krish Mathrani, the director of the Michigan GOP Youth Choir. The Bloomfield Township Police Department reported that Vallance utilized a Facebook account to send messages threatening to use Molotov cocktails and to shoot individuals at the Republican headquarters.

Investigators found that Vallance's threats were motivated by his anger towards former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party. He was arrested on November 22, 2025, near his home and has been charged with making false reports and threats of terrorism, a charge that carries a potential penalty of up to 20 years in prison.

Following his arraignment at the 52-4 District Court, Vallance was issued a $1,000,000 no 10% cash bond, and his case is now under the jurisdiction of the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office. This incident underscores the growing concerns regarding political violence and its implications for community safety and the integrity of political discourse.
